You receive a free copy from the Operation Manual, but you will need to progress a good bit before getting a free copy. Use a placeholder in the meantime. If your team can’t make use out of the Heat/Electric DMG%, Thermite Cutter is another option as it gives an ATK% boost for your Team, but Akekuri will lose both Agility and Intellect.

How to Play
Akekuri serves as an SP generator for your team. Her utility revolves around her Combo Skill and Ultimate, which should be used whenever SP recovery is needed.
Combo Skill Mechanics
Her Combo Skill triggers when any Operator hits Stagger Nodes or Staggers enemies. This makes her playstyle reliant on the enemy's Stagger gauge, meaning you cannot always 'force' SP recovery on demand.
Ultimate Usage
Her Ultimate fires 3 flares, each recovering SP for the entire team. Use it strategically to refuel your team's Battle Skills.

Release Date
Akekuri will release on January 22nd, 2026 along with the release of Arknights: Endfield. Akekuri is a Standard Operator, meaning they are permanently available through the gacha system.
