Antal increases both Heat and Electric Damage, and Akekuri can help with extra SPs. Gilberta is good for Ao E. Perlica can apply Electrification to increase the Team Arts Damage.

Clannibal effects trigger after consuming an Arts Reaction from the enemy, which synergizes perfectly with Wulfgard Battle Skill. It gives a lot Strength, ATK% and Increases the Art DMG Taken by targets after consuming Arts Reactions from them. It’s the best option for Wulfgard as a Main DPS, but if you are using Wulfgard as a Sub-DPS/Enabler for other Teams, there are better options for him. Rational Farewell is Wulfgard Signature and it's a great option that doesn’t rely on consuming Arts Reactions from enemies. It still requires triggering an Arts Burst or Combustion using his Combo Skill, but it’s much less restrictive than Clannibal. Opus: The Living gives Agility instead of Strength but also gives Crit Rate. The effect requires Wulfgard to trigger an Arts Reaction which is not hard as Wulfgard applies Heat Infliction on both Combo and Battle Skill, and also forces Combustion when using his Ultimate.

Wulfgard applies a lot of combustions, making Hot Work the best Gear Set for his damage.

How to Play

Wulfgard is a powerful damage dealer who synergizes with Heat, Combustion, and Electrification. His kit revolves around applying Heat Infliction or consuming other statuses to deal increased damage.

Skill Synergies

**Battle Skill:** Deals increased damage by consuming Combustion or Electrification. If the enemy has neither, it applies Heat Infliction instead.

**Combo Skill:** Triggered by any Arts Infliction. It applies Heat Infliction, making it easier to trigger Arts Reactions or stack Heat.

**Ultimate:** Deals massive damage and forces Combustion on enemies, setting up his Battle Skill for a burst.

Combat Talents

His talents tie his kit together perfectly. He gains increased Heat DMG after applying Combustion (via Combo Skill or Ultimate). Additionally, his second talent refunds SP when his Battle Skill consumes Combustion or Electrification.

Playstyle Strategies

**As a Main DPS:** Pair him with characters who apply non-Heat Inflictions to trigger his Combo Skill easily. This sets up easy Combustion triggers for his Battle Skill.

**As a Sub-DPS:** Ensure he uses his Battle Skill against enemies *without* Combustion or Electrification so he applies Heat Infliction instead, setting up reactions for your main DPS.

Release Date

Wulfgard will release on January 22nd, 2026 along with the release of Arknights: Endfield. Wulfgard is a Standard Operator, meaning they are permanently available through the gacha system.
